In the midst of constant notifications, deadlines, and the noise of modern life, many of us feel disconnected—from ourselves, from one another, and from the natural world that grounds us. At Gestalt Gettysburg, we believe that healing begins with slowing down, noticing, and returning to the present moment. This fall, we invite you to join us for two unique opportunities to step away from distraction and immerse yourself in the wisdom of nature and Gestalt practice.

Somatic Forest Bathing Hikes – October 12 & 26
Our hikes begin at Fuller Lake in Pine Grove Furnace State Park and lead you on an hour of gentle walking designed to awaken the senses. Through the practice of forest bathing, you’ll be encouraged to tune into the sights, sounds, smells, and textures of the forest—engaging your whole body and opening space for grounded presence.
This mindful, somatic approach allows participants to notice what arises in the here and now, creating a powerful reset from the overstimulation of daily life.

Gestalt Process Groups & Brunch
After the hike, we gather for a Gestalt process group and a light brunch. In this circle, participants are invited to reflect on their experience of the hike, share insights, and connect authentically with one another. Gestalt groups emphasize awareness, presence, and relationship—helping us notice how we show up, how we connect, and what it feels like to be fully seen and heard.
The combination of time in nature and the Gestalt process creates a profound sense of reconnection: to the self, to the earth, and to the humanity we so often lose in the rush of our daily routines.
